Design Assistant 

  • Main designer for Pop Art, the sequel to Art Deco and Orientalism

  • Handled projects through all stages of book design from the initial concept brainstorming with the client to textile choice for the covers

    • Managed the selection, allocation, and proofing of 250+ images–varying from artworks to photographs–per each book

    • Negotiating copyright contracts and purchases for images, proposing how each image contributes to the book

    • Concepting projects–including coming up with 4+ cover design ideas for each book–and active participation in critiques of designs

    • Communicated with clients from various brands and organizations such as Arturo Fuente, Louis Vuitton, RIVA, Tiffany & Co., TROG, and Dubai EXPO to perfect the design and concept of the books

  • Coordinated the new branding of the company from a book publisher to a luxury culture brand 

    • Design of offline communication pieces such as posters, brochures, and packaging

    • Production of goods that compliment the unique design of each book such as game cards and puzzles for the Arabian Leopard book 

    • Implementation of the visual concept for the rebranding of Swan Bar at Maison Assouline, a concept store for culture founded by Prosper and Martine Assouline
